Steve Kaptur
Coach Kaptur is going into his ninth year of coaching football. His previous experience includes four seasons at SalemHigh School. There he served as an Offensive, Defensive Coordinator, and Head coach for the Freshmen program from 2007-2009. In 2010 at Salem Coach Kaptur was moved to Wide Receivers and Corners for the Junior Varsity team at Salem. This season Coach Kaptur will be coaching the Split Ends and Tight Ends.
Other experience includes five seasons as a throwing coach for the boys and girls track team at SalemHigh School. Coach Kaptur also coached for the Plymouth-Canton Steelers in the Western Suburban Junior Football League. As a staff member for the Steelers, Coach Kaptur was an assistant for both the Freshmen and Varsity teams.
Coach Kaptur graduated in 2011 with his degree in Secondary Education specializing in Social Studies Grouping and History from Eastern Michigan University.
