2010 M.H.S.F.C.A. Academic All-State Division II Football Teams:
The Garden City Football Program wishes to congratulate the following football programs for being name Academic All-State Division II:
Dexter 3.946, Lowell 3.944, Walled Lake Central 3.938, & Walled Lake Western 3.919.
The top four teams nominated with the highest GPA are named Academic All-State. As much as we are happy for the above listed programs, we are extremly proud of our football program which finished in fifth place with a 3.909 G.P.A. and earned honorable mention for academic all-state. Great job Cougars!
East - West All-Star Game
Congratulations to Kody Richardson, and the East All Stars, as they defeated the West All Stars 30-13 at Kelly/Short Stadium at Central Michigan University. Kody was chosen as the starter at defensive end, and long snapped, for the East All Stars.

Congratulations to our boys varsity football team for earning the "Leading with Positive Spirit" Award, which was accepted by our team captains. Congratualtions to Tyler Steele who was awarded the "mental attitude and positive sportsmanship" award. Also, Bethany, Jordan, and Loren Thrun were awarded the "Giving Graciously" Award.
